1-GB Transceivers
The 1-GB transceivers include the Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) transceiver and the SFP transceiver. The GBIC transceivers and SFP transceivers differ in both form-factor and in connector type; they are not interchangeable. Table B-4 lists both 1-GB transceiver types, the modules that support them, the applicable transceiver illustrations, and the applicable specification tables.
